WATER ADVISORY WRAP-UP

British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a Boil Water Notice (BWN) has been issued to the District of Tofino due to failure of the chlorination
system; the advisory has been jointly issued by the District of Tofino and Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA). A Water
Quality Advisory (WQA) was issued to the City of Kimberley due to excessive turbidity.
Newfoundland Advisory Map
In Newfoundland, a partial BWA was issued in the City of Corner Brook due to repairs to the water distribution system.
This is the second BWA issued in the past few days in connection with distribution system repairs; the first advisory is still in
effect. A BWA was issued to the residents of Russell Heights in the Town of Stephenville, the reason for which was not provided.
A BWA was issued to the NL Hydro Building in St. Anthony due to the system undergoing maintenance/repairs.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a BWA was issued to the Township of Schreiber due to a power failure at the water treatment plant.
A BWA was issued by Porcupine District Health, to the Shillington Apartments, the reason for which was not stated. A previously
issued BWA to Sauble Christian Fellowship was lifted.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs (Precautionary Drinking Water Advisories) due to seasonal system start-up were issued to
Katepwa RV Park and Mainprize Regional Park. A PDWA was issued to a portion of the Town of Rosthern due to a water main break.
A number of previously issued PDWAs were rescinded, including those to Attons Lake Regional Park, Carrot River, Cypress Hills
Provincial Park, Douglas Provincial Park, Halbrite, Imperial, La Loche, Lac Vert, Maidstone, Ponteix, Little Loon Regional Park,
Qu'Appelle, Simpson, Watrous, Wishart, and 2 PDWAs in Wadena.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a number of previously issued BWAs were rescinded including those in Mirabel, Saint-Lazare, Plessisville,
Sept-Îles, and 3 in the City of Montréal (boroughs of Lachine, Montréal-North, Southwest); a BWA was issued
in the Montréal borough of Anjou. A BWA was issued to Base de Plein Air Les Goélands (outdoor recreation centre), in Port
Cartier, the reason for which was not stated.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Victoria Beach and Albert Beach Utilities due to seasonal system start-up. Previously issued
BWAs to public systems in Paradise Village, Angusville, and Powerview-Pine Falls, were rescinded.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a previously issued BWA in the Town of Shelburne was lifted.
