Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a BWA was issued to Lockeport Campground and Cottages (Shelburne County), reason not stated. A previously
issued BWA was lifted for Seal Island Trailer Park.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Garibaldi Coast to Catalyst Paper, Powell River Division due to water treatment
failure or malfunction. A previously issued BWA was lifted by Columbia Shuswap Regional District, for the Sorrento water
system. A previously issued WQA to Killiney Beach was lifted by the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Delson, a preventive BWA was issued to one street due to aqueduct repairs, while in Sainte-Brigitte-
de-Laval, a preventive BWA is in effect for 5 streets following flow meter testing. A Provincial Government-issued BWA is in
effect for the St-Ovide municipal drinking water system in Sainte-Sophie-de-Lévrard. A previously issued BWA in the
Montréal borough of Ville-Marie was lifted.
The Municipality of Weedon reported that the amount of drinking water taken from the Fontainebleau
aqueduct has been exceptionally high, with the result that water levels in the reservoir are extremely low. This might cause
an interruption of water service as well as a boil water advisory. In order to avoid the municipality having to invoke these
measures, residents are being asked to severely limit their consumption for a minimum of three days.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, advance notice of a PDWA was issued to a portion of the Town of La Ronge; the advisory will be in
effect May 26 for planned maintenance. Previously issued PDWAs were lifted for Manitou Beach Resort Village, Jackfish Lake
Lodge, Town of Carnduff, Village of Beechy, Wood River Utility, Thompson Lake Regional Park, Town of Nokomis, Town of
Gravelbourg, Village of Neudorf, Moosomin Regional Park, Towns of Canora and Balcarres.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, in Fort McMurray, a bit of positive news in that Albert Health Services may be lifting the boil water advisory
within the next few weeks. AHS had originally stated the bwa (issued due to severe flooding on April 27th) would be in effect
until September. However the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has stated that progress on the extensive plan to flush,
disinfect and test the water is moving along at a quicker pace than originally anticipated.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a previously issued Boil Order has been lifted in the Town of Beresford.
