WATER ADVISORY WRAP-UP

British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN (Boil Water Notice) was issued by Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen to Sun Valley Water
System due to a power outage that resulted in portions of the water system losing pressure, potentially causing backflow into the
system while the refilling of the system caused high turbidity. A Do Not Consume Advisory was issued by Interior Health, to Rocky
Point Water Co-Op due to chemical and physical water quality parameters in excess of acceptable concentrations. A BWN was issued by
Garibaldi Coast to Stillwater ID Water System due to insufficient water treatment. A BWN was issued by Northern Health Authority,
to Sasquatch Crossing Inn Well WS due to chlorine residual having never been tested since permitted, with unacceptable microbiological
water quality results. A WQA was issued by the City of West Kelowna to residents of the Lakeview Water Service who draw their water
from the Rose Valley Reservoir due to elevated turbidity. A previously issued WQA for Westshore Estates was lifted by RDCO
(Regional District Central Okanagan).
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA is in effect for a portion of the Municipality of Ragueneau due to water sample analysis showing abnormal
results. A BWA was issued to Auberge camp de bûcheron, (Saint-Francois-d'Asisse) non-municipal system. In Sainte-Adèle,
a BWA was issued to a portion of the Chantecler sector due to an aqueduct break. In the Montréal area, a preventive BWA was
issued in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough while a previously issued BWA in the NDG/CDN borough was lifted.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to parts of the Rural Municipality of Roland, including portions of RMs of Morris,
Thompson and Stanley; the advisory cause was not stated. A previously issued BWA to the Village of Westbourne (Westlake Gladstone) was
rescinded.
Newfoundland Advisory Map
In Newfoundland, BWAs due to systems undergoing maintenance or repair were issued to Badger (a partial advisory affecting
one street only) and to Bellburns-Bound Brook Tributary.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, Inverness County officials are reminding Port Hood residents that a strict water conservation notice is in effect,
and those who do not comply may have their water service suspected entirely. The county has no choice but to take these drastic measures
because water levels are extremely low, and in order to help alleviate the situation, everyone is expected to comply.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a previously issued Boil Order to Ocean Surf Campground was lifted.
