- All users of Village of Markinch water system 
- The water supply for the Village of Markinch is a 
shallow well that may be at a higher risk of contamination
from surface activity than a typical deep drilled well. 
Even though Markinch water quality tests have not identified any recent water quality concerns, 
the risk exists to the source water to be contaminated and the current treatment capabilities 
will not be able to ensure safe drinking water.
