EAST SOOKE (Wilderness Mountain WS) – BWN issued April 25 due to turbidity.

WATER QUALITY - Wilfred Reservoir raw water supply exhibits elevated iron and manganese concentrations throughout the entire year. During seasonal events (lake turnover or rain-driven runoff) Manganese concentrations have exceeded the MAC. Currently, there is no designated treatment in place to remove these metals from the raw water. This system has 73 connections.

EVERGREEN Community Water System – BWN issued April 25 due to disinfection equipment failure.

A Water Quality Advisory had been in placed since July 30, 2024 for turbidity exceeding 1 NTU but remaining below 5 NTU.

MILL BAY (Enrico Winery Water System) – BWN issued April 25 due to unacceptable water quality results.

OLALLA Water System – BWN issued April 24 due to poor water quality results which shows bacterial growth within the water system.

PRITCHARD Community Water System – BWN issued April 25 due to excessive turbidity.

RIVERVALE Water System – WQA issued April 28 due to turbidity.

SAGE MESA Water System (Upper Zone) – WQA issued April 28 due to turbidity at the Okanagan Lake intake.

Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen reminds residents of the Lower Zone to adhere to the permanent Boil Water Notice that remains in effect until the appropriate engineering upgrades are in place to provide the required chlorine contact time.

Greater Vernon Water Utility – WQA issued April 24 due to localized loss of water pressure and increased turbidity resulting from a water main break. There are currently 3 localized advisories in effect for this Water System.

OSOYOOS – April 26 “Without immediate action, the town risks boil water advisories this summer” … Penticton Herald.

Residents will now face stricter water conservation rules. Their potable Water System is nearing critical levels with reservoirs dipping as low as 40% despite all six pumps running at full capacity.

UPDATE

CRANBROOK Municipal WS – WQA Remains in effect. The Phillips Reservoir is still recording slightly elevated water turbidity levels as of Friday, April 25, 2025. This advisory came into effect April 9.

DEL ORO Community Water System – WQA Reminder issued April 25. The advisory remains in effect due to elevated turbidity levels and potential interference with disinfection processes.
