WATER ADVISORY WRAP-UP

Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a partial BWA was issued in the St Augustin district of Mirabel due to a broken water main. A previously issued BWA
in the City of Rivière-du-Loup has been rescinded. A partial BWA was issued in the municipality of Saint-Eustache. A limited
BWA was issued in the City of Westmount due to works on the water main network.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a Boil Water Advisory (BWA) was issued to the Rural Municipality of Dauphin community water system; the advisory
cause was not stated but it is listed as short-term.
A 4-year-old First Nation drinking water advisory has been lifted! In place since March 2014, repairs and upgrades to the
Canupawakpa Community Complex Semi-Public Water System have been completed, and the drinking water is now safe.
Newfoundland Advisory Map
In Newfoundland, BWAs were issued to Milltown Head of Bay D'Espoir (Jersey Pond) due to the distribution system undergoing maintenance or repairs, to Massey Drive (Trout Pond, Third Pond) also due to the distribution system undergoing maintenance or repairs, and to Benton (Little Pond)
due to Total Coliforms having been detected in repeat water samples.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, 2 previously issued First Nation long-term drinking water advisories have been lifted as follows:
Adams Lake Indian Band - a drinking water advisory had been in effect since April 2009. ISC (Indigenous Services Canada) supported
improvements and upgrades to the existing water system. Cowichan Tribes - a drinking water advisory had been in effect since
June 2011. ISC supported the connection of the water system to a Regional District distribution system.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a 2-year-old First Nation drinking water advisory to Pikangicum First Nation has been rescinded as repairs to the
water treatment system and back-up power system have been completed.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, in the Town of Raymore, a second PDWA (Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory) has been issued for planned system maintenance. The first advisory was issued Oct 1, and the second is in effect today, Oct. 3rd.
