WATER ADVISORY WRAP-UP

Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a partial, preventive BWA (Boil Water Advisory) was issued in the Town of Sutton (Montéregie region) due to a
water shut-off for aqueduct repairs or maintenance. A previously issued BWA in the City of Rouyn-Noranda was rescinded. In the
Montreal West Island City of Pointe-Claire, a BWA was issued to the residents of one street due to an aqueduct break.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, partial Precautionary Drinking Water Advisories (PDWAs) were issued in the Northern Village of Beauval due to
a water main break, the Village of Buena Vista due to insufficient chlorine residual, the Village of Wilcox due to depressurization
of the distribution system, and in the Northern Village of La Loche, due to depressurization required for water main repairs. Advance
notification of a PDWA was issued in the Village of Dorintosh to accommodate upgrades to the distribution header at the water treatment
plant; the advisory will be in effect Oct 22nd.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a Boil Water Notice (BWN) was issued by Vancouver Island Health Authority to Lyall Harbour/Boot Cove
Water System (Saturna Island) due to elevated turbidity levels. A BWN was issued by Interior Health to Kam Lake View Meats Water
System (Kamloops) due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological).
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, short-term BWAs have been issued to Snow Lake Public Water System and St. Malo Public Water System.
