WATER ADVISORY WRAP-UP

Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in the municipality of Sainte-Adèle, two districts are under a BWA (Boil Water Advisory) following a
water service interruption issued to accommodate system upgrades. A BWA was issued to the municipality of Chambly due to an aqueduct break.
Partial BWAs were issued in the municipalities of Carignan, Mirabel and Saint-Eustache. Previously issued BWAs in Rouyn-Noranda and Sainte-Catherine, were lifted. In the Buckingham sector of the City of Gatineau, aqueduct repair work is starting today, and a boil water
advisory is scheduled to be in effect Oct 25 for a portion of the population. While in Gatineau, the preventive BWA previously issued to
the Hull sector remains in effect to accommodate the modernization of the Hull water treatment plant.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, a PDWA (Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory) was issued to the Village of Dinsmore due to a water main break,
while a PDWA was issued to the southwest part of the Town of Indian Head due to high turbidity in the distribution system. In the Town
of Pense, a portion of one street is under a PDWA due to system depressurization.
Newfoundland Advisory Map
In Newfoundland, 4 previously issued BWAs in Corner Brook have been rescinded, all of which were originally issued in connection
with Capital Works improvements to the distribution system.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a partial BWA was issued in the Town of Moosonee due to a water main break.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to the Manigotagan Public Water System, the reason for which was not stated.
