Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Hawkes Bay-Torrent River due to the system undergoing maintenance or
repair. A previously issued BWA to Ramea-Northwest Pond was lifted. The Town of Stephenville issued a BWA to several streets
due to a water main break. In St. John's, an unplanned water disruption occured yesterday, resulting in affected residents
possibly experiencing low or even no water service. Crews were hoping to have the necessary work completed by late last night.
No drinking water advisory was issued in connection with this occurrence.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, a BWA was both issued and lifted this week at Checabucto Mall in Guysborough. A previously issued BWA
was lifted for Ritchies Pizza.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, BWAs were issued to a portion of Saint-Joseph-de-Lac following water interruption, the Municipality of
Sainte-Martine in connection with the upcoming work at the City of Châteauguay water treatment system, scheduled for May 11.
A BWA was also issued to all users of the Cordeau Aqueduct in Saint-Monique following a major water leak. In Sherbrooke, water
was interrupted to a number of streets due to an aqueduct break; a preventive BWA is now in effect. Previously issued BWAs were
lifted in Rouyn-Noranda and Saint-Eustache. In Matane, 3 aqueduct breaks were reported yesterday, of which one was repaired while
the other two are being repaired today. No drinking water advisories were issued.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, 2 PDWAs were issued to the Town of Lumsden, one to a portion of town for planned system maintenance,
and the other, to River Park Campground for seasonal system start-up. A PDWA was issued to North Valley Water Line Co-operative
Ltd, due to system wide depressurization; the advisory applies to the area east of CK Transport at the intersection of highway 1
and Thatcher Drive East. PDWAs were also issued to a portion of the Town of Choiceland due to a water break, Arborfield Waterworks
due to excessive turbidity, Sask Landing Provincial Park due to seasonal system start-up, Hamlet of Yellow Creek due to elevated
turbidity.
Previously issued PDWAs were rescinded for St Benedict Village, Resort Village of Shields, Town of Spiritwood, RM Sherwood, Town
of Wakaw, Highway 41 Water Utility, Town of Livelong, Village of Kenaston, Weldon Rural Farm Group, Northern Village of Beauval,
Village of Weldon, Loreburn Waterworks, Town of Cudworth, Town of Big River, Meath Park, Hawarden Village.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to a portion of the Municipality of North Norfolk (Portage la Prairie), Public Water System;
the advisory cause was not stated however it is categorized as short term.
