There were 37 new advisories issued since yesterday : 22 in SK, 6 in QC, 3 in BC, 3 in MB, 1 in NL, 1 in ON, 1 in AB.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs due to seasonal system startup were issued to Arlington Beach, Cypress Hills Prov Park, Good Spirit Prov Park, Pasqua Regional Park, Pike Lake Prov Park, Makwa Lake
Prov Park, Moose Mountain Prov Park, Moosomin Regional Park, Biggar (Rodeo Valley and Regional Park), Blackstrap Prov Park, Duck Mountain Prov Park effective May 16. PDWAs were also issued to a
portion of Canora due to water line repairs, two blocks in Eatonia due to water main break, Glen Ewen due to water hauling, Glenavon due to water main break, North Portal due to a water break,
portion of Rosthern due to planned maintenance, Town of Gull Lake due to planned maintenance, portion of Herbert due to water main repair, portion of Highway 41 Water Utility due to planned maintenance.
A PDWA will be in effect May 16 in a localized area of Dinsmore due to connection of new services. A First Nation BWA was issued to Black Lake No 224 PWS.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Thompson-Nicola Regional District issued a WQA to Pritchard CWS due to increased turbidity. TNRD also issued a BWN to Black Pines due to high turbidity;
a WQA issued to Black Pines in March due to elevated manganese levels, is still in effect. Garibaldi Coast issued a BWN to Texada Quarry (Division Lafarge) Upper Well due to a positive
E. Coli sample result; a BWN issued to the Texada Quarry Main Water System due to a positive E. Coli sample result in April, is still in effect.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued in the Saint-Élie district of Sherbrooke due to valve maintenance. A localized BWA was issued in Bécancour due to an aqueduct break.
In Saint-Tite, a BWA was issued to a number of addresses, reason not stated. In Sainte-Julie a BWA was issued to a part of one street, reason not stated. First Nation BWAs were issued to Innu-
Ekuanitshit PWS and Innu-Pessimit PWS.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a precautionary BWA was issued to the Municipality of North Cypress-Langford due to new reservoir connection. BWAs were issued to Wabowden PWS and Ashern Auction Mart, SPWS,
food handling service; advisory causes were not stated and both are categorized as short term.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a precautionary BWA was issued in Corner Brook due to repairs to the water distribution system.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a First Nation BWA was issued to Little Red River Cree-Fox Lake PWS. Previously issued First Nation BWAs were rescinded for Sturgeon Lake PWS and Tallcree PWS.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a First Nation BWA was issued to Rainy River PWS; the advisory is short term.
