Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, a precautionary BWA was issued by the City of Belleville to the Hamlet of Point Ann, due to the water treatment system having suffered major failure and subsequently, flooding which damaged equipment, causing the water not to meet requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act. The Regional Municipality of Durham has today advised residents of water service disruptions and low water pressure due to a watermain break on Adelaide Avenue East in the City of Oshawa. No drinking water advisory has been issued and residents are being advised to run their cold water for 5-10 minutes, once service is restored.


Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, in Lévis, a preventive BWA was issued to several buildings in the Saint-Nicolas sector due to replacement of 3 hydrants. A preventive BWA was issued by the Municipality of Papineauville following repairs to the aqueduct system. In Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez, there is a severe drinking water shortage due to heavy consumption, which has resulted in a BWA being issued. A Provincial Government-issued Do-Not-Consume advisory is in effect for Bâtiment d'accueil Sentiers du Moulin, municipal system in Lac-Beauport, reason not stated. A BWA is in effect in Ville de Saint-Tite, cause was not stated. In Mirabel, a preventive BWA was issued to a portion of one street in the Saint-Janvier sector due to connection services; this is the 3rd BWA issued in Mirabel in the past week, with the previous two still in effect. A preventive BWA was issued in the Parc Cartier sector of Rivière-du-Loup due to an aqueduct break. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Rougement, Port-Cartier, Fossambault-sur-le-Lac.


Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, PDWAs due to seasonal system start-ups were issued to Lions Park Campground (Carlyle), Minowukaw Campground, Sandy Bay Campground. PDWAs were also issued to Hawarden Waterworks due to depressurization, a portion of the Town of Kinistino due to treatment or distribution equipment failure or damage, South Humboldt Water Users Corp due to planned maintenance.


Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map

In Newfoundland and Labrador, the Town of Carmanville issued a preventive BWA due to flushing of the main water lines, while the Town of Rocky Harbour issued a preventive BWA due to hydrant flushing.


British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, Interior Health issued a BWN to Copper Mountain Mine Truck Shop water system due to distribution system integrity failure, and a WQA to Lake Okanagan Resort water system due to excessive turbidity.


Manitoba Advisory Map

In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to both Victoria Beach Municipal Water System and Albert Beach Municipal System, due to a power outage resulting in pressure loss. A previously issued BWA in Russell-Binscarth was lifted.
