Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, in Corner Brook, a third precautionary BWA has been issued due to improvements to the water
distribution system through Capital Works; the 2 previous advisories are still in effect. BWAs were issued to Red Harbour
due to E. Coli having been detected and confirmed in repeat sampling, Georgetown-Third Pond due to the absence of free chlorine
residual detected in the water distribution system, and Brigus-Long Pond, also due to the absence of free chlorine residual.
A town-wide BWA was lifted in Happy Valley Goose Bay.
Nova Scotia Advisory Map
In Nova Scotia, BWAs were issued to Whale Cove Summer Village (Inverness County), Boulangerie La Vandeene (Lunenburg),
and Church of Latter Day Saints (Annapolis); advisory causes were not provided. A previously issued BWA was lifted for River
Trail Cottages, unit 6.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a precautionary BWA was issued by Tiny Township due to emergency water main repairs. Springwater Township
issued a BWA to the Phelpston water system following a notice from Ministry Environment, Conservation and Parks, of an adverse
water quality sample. A previously issued BWA was lifted in Hearst. Garden River First Nation has lifted a precautionary BWA.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, in Orford, a BWA is in effect due to detection of E. Coli in one of the municipal reservoirs serving
the du Montagnac and Village Mont Orford sectors. A BWA was issued in the Municipality of Brownsburg-Chatham, reason not stated;
all sectors are under advisory except for Saint-Philippe East. A BWA was issued to a number of streets in Rouyn-Noranda
(Noranda West sector) due to work on the aqueduct system. A Provincial Government-issued BWA is in effect for the Hull
municipal drinking water system, reason not stated. Preventive BWAs were issued in the Montréal boroughs of
Plateau-Mont-Royal and Verdun. Previously issued BWAs have been partially lifted in both Sept-Îles and Val-Morin.
Previously issued BWAs were rescinded in Laval, Pointe-Calumet, Bonaventure.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, Fraser Health issued a BWN to Ross Lake Entrance water system due to unacceptable levels of
microbiological contamination detected in the drinking water supply. Northern Health issued a BWN to Chubb Lake Bible Camp
no. 1 (Prince George) due to unsatisfactory bacteriological samples at sample site. Repair work was done to the system and
the water line may not have been properly flushed, leading to pathogen contamination.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, BWAs were issued to a number of streets in Pinawa, reason not stated. A BWA was issued in RM Gimli,
reason not stated. In RM Stanley a BWA is in effect for Massey Water System which includes Tinker Creek and areas north of
Tinker Creek. A BWA is also in effect for the area west of PR 432.
The RM Stanley advisories were issued due to a water break.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Village of Spy Hill due to water main repairs, Village of McLean due to a power
outage, Town of Moosomin due to a water main break, and Village of Edenwold due to a power outage.
