Québec Advisory Map

In Québec, a preventive BWA was issued in the Melocheville sector of Beauharnois due to work on the aqueduct network. In Saint-Lazare, water interruption was followed by a preventive BWA for one street due to emergency aqueduct repairs. The Municipality of Carignan issued a preventive BWA to the sectors of Centre, du Parchemin, du Domaine, Carignan-Salières, Île Goyer, Île aux Lièvres, Île Demers, due to a power outage at the filtration plant. A portion of one street is under a boil advisory in the City of Laval, reason not stated. In Saint-Jérôme, a preventive BWA was issued to one street where public works are occurring. A preventive BWA was issued in the Montréal borough of Plateau-Mont-Royal while another, in the Verdun borough, was lifted. BWAs were also lifted in Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard, Sept-Îles, Brownsburg-Chatham. In Rouyn-Noranda, a previously issued BWA was lifted while another was since issued, due to work on the aqueduct network; this advisory will be in effect tomorrow, Aug 6th.


Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map

In Newfoundland and Labrador, BWAs were issued in L'Anse au Loup due to Total Coliforms having been detected and confirmed in a repeat sample, Port-Saunders-Tom Taylors Pond due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair, Port au Choix-Winterhouse Pond due to the system undergoing maintenance or repair, a portion of St. Anthony also due to maintenance or repair. Two BWAs were issued in St. Lunaire-Griquet, one due to E. Coli having been detected with repeat samples not being able to be taken as required, and the other, due to Total Coliforms having been detected and confirmed in a repeat sample.


British Columbia Advisory Map

In British Columbia, Interior Health issued a BWN to O'Keefe Ranch (Vernon) due to unacceptable water quality results (microbiological). Northern Health Authority issued BWNs to Rocky Mountain Lodge due to a unsatisfactory bacteriological sample at one sample site, and Nordic Water Company due to detection of 75 Total Coliform. Vancouver Island Health lifted BWNs to Hornby Island Bakery, Cobble Hill Improvement District, Myra Falls Operations, Little Qualicum Holdings, Lasqueti Island Hotel and Little Water System (Mill Bay). A previously issued localized BWN to Erickson was lifted by the Regional District of Central Kootenay.


Saskatchewan Advisory Map

In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Resort Village of Cochin due to depressurization due to a water break, Mainprize Regional Park due to high turbidity, Village of Simpson due to a power outage. Advance notice of a PDWA was issued in the Hamlet of Frenchman Butte due to a line break or pressure loss; the advisory will be in effect tomorrow, Aug 6th. A previously issued BWA was lifted in the town of Regina Beach.


Ontario Advisory Map

In Ontario, A BWA is in effect for Nottawa (McKean Subdivision) Drinking Water System, in the Township of Clearview, reason not stated. The Township is awaiting results from the second set of samples, scheduled for release today. Should the samples contain no abnormalities, the Township and Simcoe Muskoka District Health will jointly rescind the advisory.


Manitoba Advisory Map

In Manitoba, a BWA was issued to Wabowden Public Water System, reason not stated. The advisory is categorized as short term.
