There were 24 new advisories issued since yesterday: 8 in SK, 10 in QC, 1 in NL, 1 in MB, 1 in ON, 1 in NU, 1 in AB, 1 in BC.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, a BWA was issued to the entire municipality of Bois-des-Filion following break of the principal watermain. In Saint-Constant a preventive BWA was issued to several
addresses due to work on the aqueduct. In Sainte-Catherine a preventive BWA was issued to several addresses due to valve replacement. A localized BWA was issued to one street in
Baie-Comeau due to an aqueduct break. In Sainte-Brigide-d'Iberville a BWA was issued due to equipment breakage. A BWA was issued in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough of Montréal.
Three localized BWAs were issued in Laval, reasons not stated. A preventive BWA was issued to one sector in Saint-Jérôme, reason not stated. A previously issued BWA was lifted in Brossard.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to the Town of Arcola due to temporary water hauling, Village of Beechy due to depressurization, Hamlet of Hitchcock due to water hauling due
to pump equipment failure or damage,Town of Lanigan due to planned maintenance, portion of Lebret Village due to depressurization, Town of Qu'appelle due to low chlorine residuals,
Hamlet of Rabbit Lake due to depressurization, portion of Rosthern due to treatment or distribution equipment failure or damage.
Nunavut Advisory Map
In Nunavut, a BWA was issued to the Hamlet of Baker Lake due to excessive turbidity.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a blue-green algae advisory (cyanobacteria) was issued by Alberta Health Services for Nakamun Lake. AHS lifted a BWA for Dorchester Estates. A First Nation BWA was
rescinded for Blood Nation-Moses Lake.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a BWA will be in effect tomorrow for a portion of the Municipality of Roblin Public Water System due to scheduled maintenance.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWA was issued by Northern Health to Haida House due to unsatisfactory bacteriological water results.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a previously issued BWA was lifted for Canadiana Shores Water System. A First Nation BWA was issued to Pic Mobert Water Treatment Plant PWS.
Newfoundland and Labrador Advisory Map
In Newfoundland and Labrador, a BWA was issued to Burlington-Eastern Island Pond due to water entering the system and after a minimum 20 minute contact time lacking minimum
free chlorine residual.
