Cowichan Tribes was lifted on September 12, Adams Lake Indian Band on September 13, Pikangikum First Nation on September 17, and in the Canupawakpa Dakota First Nation on September 28.

Health Canada has published its latest report on short-term water advisories which are issued for temporary water quality issues on specific water systems.
As of December 18, 2018, there were 30 short-term Drinking Water Advisories (DWA) in effect in First Nations communities across Canada, excluding BC; and 3 in BC issued by the First Nation Health Authiority (FNHA)
The short-term advisoires in each province are listed below.
Long-term advisories - advisories that have been in place for more than a year - are now listed by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) along with a targeted resolution date.
Below we list the recently added long-term advisories as well as those that should be resolved by the end of December 2018.
