GRANISLE COMMUNITY WS – 

JANUARY 6, 2026 - DNC remains in effect. The community waits for an engineering assessment, conducted in collaboration with the manufacturer, of their Water Treatment Plants chemical and mechanical issues. 

DECEMBER 14, 2025 - DNC issued due to a coagulant leak from the treatment system. The coagulant, composed of aluminum chlorohydrate, is used to bind materials in the raw source water facilitating the filtration process. Recent testing of treated water supply showed ALUMINUM at 3.75 mg/L, the maximum acceptable concentration is 2.9 mg/L.


SEPTEMBER 04, 2025 - WQA issued due to mechanical issues with the filtration system and elevated turbidity.

As a precautionary measure, people with weakened or undeveloped immune systems may wish to boil water for at least one minute, use bottled water, or use an alternative approved source of water. Elderly people, pregnant women, children under the age of two, people with AIDS, cancer, diabetes or kidney disease and people being treated with immuno-suppressing medications should take appropriate measures.
