been detected in rural
system #9. BWA already in
effect since April 1. 
Issued by IH and Town of
Osoyoos.  


Advance notice of BWN to be
in effect as of April 1st,
applying to rural systems
8 and 9 due to water source being switched from groundwater (well source) to Osoyoos Lake surface water.
Osoyoos Lake water is chlorinated, however current
 disinfection process not adequate to protect from  pathogens that may be present in the surface water source.
