April 19 STATE of EMERGENCY Due to Flooding Event (Update 8):
Municipality actively seeking disaster relief and recovery assistance; a site visit has been arranged Apr 25 with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to examine the extent of the damage sustained by flooding. The Municipality continues to seek volunteers to aid residents in need.

April 16 STATE of EMERGENCY Due to Flooding Event (Update 6): The order remains in effect due to forecasted rain plus the anticipated snow melt.  April 12 the order was put into effect following the unprecedented rainfall which caused the overflow of Murdoch Creek and Rand Creek and surcharged the Towns sanitary system.
