CSRD reminds residents that Increased water usage will; result in further restrictions, and risk available water supplies needed in the event of a fire.

FERNIE Municipal Water System – BWN issued May 30. Following an electrical failure at James White Wells, the City switched to the Fairy Creek water source. The turbidity levels at Fairy Creek are higher than 5 NTU, which is common during spring freshet.
The City of Fernie is working to make repairs as quickly as possible. Interior Health has been notified accordingly.
