CARSON-PEGASUS PROVINCIAL PARK – DNC issued May 15.

CRIMSON LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK – BWA issued May 9 due to seasonal service changes. It is recommended that visitors do not drink the water and to boil the water to use for both cooking and cleaning.

DILLBERRY LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK – BWA issued May 12 due to spring water system maintenance which is ongoing; the water in park facilities is not considered potable. Visitors should provide their own water or boil it before consuming and using.

FIGURE EIGHT LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK – DNC issued May 16.

MIQUELON LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK – DNC issued May 12 due to seasonal start-up.

PEMBINA RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK – DNC issued May 13.

QUEEN ELIZABETH PROVINCIAL PARK – DNC issued May 16.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

ISSUED

BIG WHITE Water Utility (Grizzly Ridge Subdivision) – WQA issued May 20 due to increased turbidity levels in the water system; current levels are at 1.4 – 1.6 NTU. While current turbidity levels are slightly elevated and do not pose a health risk to the general public, some individuals (the immune compromised, elderly, infants, young children and pets) should boil the water prior to consumption or use an alternate source of drinking water.

GRINDROD Water System – WQA issued May 22 for planned construction work.

HORSE LAKE Water System – BWN issued May 21 as a precautionary measure; the system was shut off for a period due to unforeseen issues during recent routine maintenance.

WATER QUALITY – This system is under advisory for Manganese concentrations in exceedance of the Canadian Drinking Water Guidelines. Boiling will increase the Manganese level in the water. An alternative source of water should be used by the immune compromised, elderly, infants, young children and pets.

Greater Vernon Water Utility – BWN issued May 21, due to power outages, localized water pressure was lost.

Greater Vernon Water Utility – WQA issued May 20 due to localized depressurization resulting from a water main break. There are 5 localized advisories in effect for this system.
