SYLVAN LAKE (Town Water Supply) – BWA was in effect July 4 to 6 for a line repair.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

FORT NELSON (Key Pile Water Well and Treatment System) – WQA issued July 10 instructing users to boil water before consumption. The advisory was issued as a precautionary measure when no monitoring for total coliform bacteria or Escherichia coli is performed; No water samples have been submitted for microbiological analysis since Feb 2024.

FORT NELSON (TETSA RIVER SERVICES CAMPGROUND) – BWN issued July 10 due to no water samples have been submitted for microbiological analysis since Mar 2023. The water source is from a shallow well, considered as surface water. The UV system has been non-operational since Jun 10, 2019. The Filter was found non-operational during inspection on Jul 8, 2025. There is no treatment of raw supply.

NORTH SALT SPRING Waterworks – BWN issued July 10 due to localized water main repair.

TERRACE (Kalum River Lodge) – BWN issued July 11 due to total coliforms and E.coli detected in recent samples.

THETIS ISLAND (Telegraph Harbour Marina Water) – BWN issued July 11 due to unacceptable water quality results.

SALT SPRING ISLAND (Highland-Fernwood WS) – July 11 An Update was issued, regarding the WQA issued on July 7 for increased sediment resulting from water main flushing, due to an unprecedented spike in Manganese levels. The advisory now includes a warning for infants not to consume tap water/formula made with tap water and adults and older children should avoid drinking discoloured tap water.
