Centre Stage will set the tone for a week dedicated to accelerating transformative solutions that place water at the heart of climate strategies.

The Opening Ceremony sheds light on this year’s theme, Water for Climate Action, highlighting the progress that’s been made and the challenges that remain. Featuring diverse voices and inspiring speakers, the session sets the stage for a week of dialogue and collaboration.

High-Level Panel: Water’s Pathway in Global Processes

The High-Level Panel on Water’s Pathway in Global Processes is a platform for stocktaking and dialogue on how to best harness the political momentum for collective action through the ongoing water related processes at the UN level. It highlights and explores the importance of intersectoral cooperation and partnerships in meeting the goals of SDG 6 and achieving a peaceful and sustainable future.

Indigenous Peoples at the heart of decision-making, lessons for water

Join Indigenous leaders from around the world for strength-based stories of water advocacy, climate resilience, and intergenerational leadership. This high-level panel explores how Indigenous Knowledge systems—and the cultural and spiritual values underpinning them—can shape sustainable water governance, offering insight for inclusive, cross-sectoral collaboration in a changing global landscape. 

Water In Business

Through high-level discussions and practical case studies, Water in Business explores how businesses can lead in water stewardship despite shifting regulatory and geopolitical landscapes. This year’s sessions cover regulatory changes, science-based target implementation, and innovation for resilience, offering actionable insights for business leaders, investors, policymakers and other stakeholders.
