WATER ADVISORY WRAP-UP

Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, partial BWAs (Boil Water Advisories) were issued in the City of Shawinigan due to repair works, the City of
Rouyn-Noranda due to an aqueduct break, and in the municipality of Mascouche due to a water leak. A preventive BWA was issued
to the residents of one street in Saint-Lazare due to emergency repairs in connection with an aqueduct break. Previously issued
BWAs in Dolbeau-Mistassini and Sainte-Adèle have been lifted, while 2 previously issued partial BWAs in Saint-Eustache
were both rescinded.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN (Boil Water Notice) was issued by Vancouver Island Health Authority, to Saturna Beach Strata due to
the water not meeting the prescribed standard under the DWPR (Drinking Water Protection Regulation). A BWN was issued by Interior Health,
to Savona Community Water System due to unacceptable water quality results.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, A PDWA (Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory) was issued to the Northern Village of Ile a la Crosse due to
distribution equipment failure or damage, and to the Town of Qu'Appelle due to reservoir cleaning. Partial PDWAs were issued in the Village
of Sceptre due to a fire hydrant repair, in Elstow due to a power outage, and in the town of Leader due to a water break causing
depressurization. A number of previously issued PDWAs were rescinded, including those to the Northern Village of Beauval, Town of Central
Butte, the Villages of Meota, Middle Lake, Buena Vista, Wiseton and Pleasantdale, Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Hamlet of Edgeley,
Domremy Waterworks.
Newfoundland Advisory Map
In Newfoundland, a BWA was issued to McIvers Brook due to the distribution system undergoing maintenance or repairs.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a short-term BWA was issued to Nelson House Public Water System, the reason for which was not stated.
