Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, previously issued Boil Water Advisories (BWAs) in Amos, Trois-Rivières, Val Neigette, Westmount, North Hatley
and Rouyn-Noranda have been rescinded. Two new partial BWAs were issued in Saint-Eustache where a third previously issued advisory
is still in effect. One of the two new advisories was effective yesterday (the 8th) while the second is effective today.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a Water Quality Advisory (WQA) was issued by the City of West Kelowna to both Lakeview Water System and West
Kelowna Estates due to elevated turbidity. A Boil Water Notice (BWN) was issued by the Regional District of Central Kootenay to Woodbury
Village Water System due to the presence of Total Coliforms, with overall "poor" water quality. A BWN was issued by Vancouver Coastal Health
(Garibaldi) to Anchor Way Strata Water System (Powell River) due to non compliance with potable water quality standards, and water treatment
failure or malfunction. Northern Health Authority issued a BWN to ATCO-Two Rivers Water System, Site C (Fort St.John) due to the detection
of E. coli in the water system.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, in the Village of Meath Park, a limited PDWA (Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory) was issued
due to a water main break; this is the second PDWA in effect in Meath Park: the previous advisory, due to a power outage
resulting in system pressure loss, was issued Sept 18, and is still in effect. Advance notice of a PDWA was issued last week to
Zenon Park Waterworks; the advisory goes into effect today due to planned system maintenance. A 3rd limited PDWA was issued in the
Town of Raymore due to water system repairs; the first was issued Oct 1, the next on Oct 3 while the 3rd advisory was issued on Oct 4.
Newfoundland Advisory Map
In Newfoundland, a BWA was issued to Cox's Cove (Cox's Brook) due to Escherichia coli (E. coli) having been detected, while
in St. Andrews (#2 Well), a BWA was issued due to the disinfection system being shut off due to maintenance or mechanical failure.
A preventive BWA was issued in the Town of Norris Point due to system flushing. Previously issued BWAs were lifted in Bay St George South
(#3 Well Robinson's), Massey Drive (Trout Pond, Third Pond). In Corner Brook a previously issued partial BWA was rescinded while another has
now been issued, part of a series of BWAs being issued in connection with Capital Works improvements to the distribution system.
