British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Northern Health Authority to Caron Creek RV Park (Chetwynd) due to the operator
having reported the park had not been used since last summer and the water might be stagnant. Interior Health (IH) issued BWNs
to Brennan Creek Water System due to excessive turbidity, and to Chinook Cove Golf Course for routine maintenance. IH issued
WQAs to Thompson River Estates and Walhachin Community Water System, both due to excessive turbidity. The Regional District of
Central Okanagan issued a WQA to Killiney Beach Water System due to excessive turbidity.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, today's scheduled work on the City of Chateauguay's water treatment system affects a number of
other municipalities, all of which have preventive BWAs in effect today. These include the Municipalities of Mercier,
Sainte-Martine, Léry, Saint-Isidore, Saint-Urbain-Premier. These advisories are scheduled to remain in effect for
36 hours following completion of the work.
BWAs were issued to a portion of one street in Rouyn-Noranda due to work on the aqueduct, and to a portion of one street in the
Montréal borough of Saint-Laurent due to a water main break. Previously issued BWAs were rescinded in Mirabel, Rougement,
Sainte-Adèle, Saint-Michel-des-Saints, Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval. A previously issued First Nation BWA to Innu-Matimekush
MAT Public System was rescinded.
Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, a previously issued water ban in southeast rural Strathcona County was lifted. First Nation BWAs were issued
to Enoch Cree Nation-River Cree Public Water System, and to Sunchild First Nation-new subdivision. Advisory causes were not
stated however both are expected to be short term. A previously issued First Nation BWA to Tallcree PWS was lifted.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAS were issued to Dundurn Rural Water Utility due to treatment or distribution system failure or
damage, Kannata Valley Waterworks due to a water main break with system depressurization, West Bench Colony of Hutterian Brethren
due to contaminated repeat bacteria samples, McLean Village due to disinfection equipment failure, Katepwa RV Park due to
seasonal system start-up. Advance notice of a PDWA was issued to the Northern Hamlet of Weyakwin due to planned maintenance;
the advisory is effective May 13. A First Nation BWA was issued to Buffalo River Dene Nation Public Water System.
Ontario Advisory Map
In Ontario, a First Nation BWA was issued to Fort Albany Public Water System. The advisory is categorized as short term.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, previously issued BWAs were lifted for the Municipality of North Norfolk and for Rock Lake Hospital.
A previously issued DWAA (Drinking Water Avoidance Advisory) in Elgin was lifted.
New Brunswick Advisory Map
In New Brunswick, a previously issued boil order at Tamarack Estates was lifted.
