Alberta Advisory Map
In Alberta, blue-green algae (cyanobacterial bloom) advisories were issued by Alberta Health Services for parts of
Sturgeon Lake, Steele Lake, Vincent Lake, Fork Lake, Bear Lake. A number of water quality advisories have been issued by AHS due
to elevated fecal bacterial levels: Zeiner Park Beach (Pigeon Lake), Wabamun Lake Provincial Park, Williamson Prov Park
(Sturgeon Lake), Buffalo Lake (Red Deer), Aspen Beach (Red Deer). First Nation BWAs were issued to Blood-Levern PWS, 2 for
Dene Tha': Bushe Food & Gas SPWS, and Four Chief Complex SPWS, Sucker Creek -Treaty 8 House SPWS, Tallcree-North
Tallcree PWS, 2 for Tsuutina: Courthouse & Peacemakers SPWS, and Mens Shelter SPWS.
Québec Advisory Map
In Québec, Provincial Government-issued advisories are in effect for Caisse-Croute R.D. in Saint-Côme-Linière
(BWA), Camping de la Diable in Mont Tremblant (BWA), and Motel Cap Blanc in Kamouraska (DNC). A preventive local BWA was issued
by the City of Dorval, affecting a portion of one avenue following water interruption for water main repairs. A number of
preventive BWAs were issued in the Montréal area in the boroughs of Plateau-Mont-Royal, Verdun, Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve,
Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension. Previously issued Montréal area BWAs were lifted in Verdun and
Plateau-Mont-Royal. Previously issued municipal BWAs were lifted in Dolbeau-Mistassini and Saint-Lazare. A previously issued
First Nation BWA was lifted for Innu/Pessamit PWS.
Saskatchewan Advisory Map
In Saskatchewan, PDWAs were issued to Greenwater Lake Prov Park due to treatment or distribution equipment failure or damage,
one block in the Town of Regina Beach due to water main break, and Village of Canwood due to planned maintenance, to be in effect
tomorrow, Aug 5th. First Nation BWAs were issued to Birch Narrows Dene PWS, English River-La Plonge PWS, Hatchet Lake Denesuline-Lac
La Hache PWS, Standing Buffalo PWS. First Nation BWAs were rescinded for Pasqua No. 79 PWS, and Pelican Lake PWS.
British Columbia Advisory Map
In British Columbia, a BWN was issued by Garibaldi Coast to Gillies Bay I.D. due to non compliance with potable water quality
standards. A BWN was issued by Vancouver Island Health to Fish & Duck Pub (Port Alberni) due to water treatment equipment failure.
Manitoba Advisory Map
In Manitoba, a First Nation BWA was issued to Canupawakpa Admin Bldg SPWS, while one was lifted for Peguis PWS.
